cEDH Mimieoplasm (Flash Hulk)

The Decklist:

A Budget Decklist:

Early Game Strategy

The deck utilizes early ramp, tutoring, and card draw in order to play Flash and Protean Hulk as early as possible. There are very few cards outside of this and value/combo pieces. The deck wants to spend the first few turns ramping and then begin drawing cards in order to set up a tutor for Flash and Protean Hulk as quickly as possible.

The Combo

1. Cast Flash, playing Protean Hulk. Protean Hulk Will die allowing a tutor.
See the source image

2. Grab Viscera Seer and Body Double. Have Body Double enter as a copy of Protean Hulk.

3. Sac Protean Hulk (Body Double) to Viscera Seer to Tutor for Mikaeus and Walking Ballista

4. Sac walking Ballista to Viscera Seer. It comes back with undying. Remove the +1/+1 counter to ping an opponent for one and sac it again. Repeat to kill the table.

Late Game (If your Flash+Hulk combo is prevented and unrecoverable)

In the late game the deck can either win with a standard reanimater package of graveyard value from around the table with a splash of control, or by using the secondary combo (Presuming Walking Ballista is in the graveyard and not exile). The secondary (non-infinite) combo is as folllows

Ooze line:
Necrotic Ooze when copied by The Mimeoplasm or on the battlefield says:
"it has all activated abilities of all creature cards in all graveyards."

So the key cards we're aiming to have the abilities of are Phyrexian Devourer and Walking Ballista this allows us to then use Phyrexian Devourer's ability of:

"Exile the top card of your library: Put X +1/+1 counters on Phyrexian Devourer, where X is the exiled card's converted mana cost."

Due to neither Mimeo or Necrotic Ooze actually being Phyrexian Devourer we end up bypassing it's first ability.

this allows one to exile the deck and gain counters on our Necrotic Ooze/Mimeo which also has the ability of Walking Ballista which allows us to:

"Remove a +1/+1 counter from Walking Ballista: It deals 1 damage to any target."

Proceed to exile cards until you can kill the table.
